Terms of service

1. The Service

First-Thing.ai generates an AI Career Position Report based on the LinkedIn URL you submit and any optional answers you provide. The output is informational and intended for self-assessment.

2. Eligibility and acceptable use

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You may use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• You must not abuse the Service, including by attempting to bypass rate limits, perform automated bulk requests, or interfere with normal operation.
• You must not use the Service to generate reports about other people without their permission.

3. Your responsibilities

• You confirm that the LinkedIn URL you submit is your own profile.
• You are responsible for the information you submit (including any URLs and answers).
• You represent that you have the right to provide the data you submit to us for processing.
• You understand that the Service relies on third-party sources and may not always be available or accurate.

4. AI output disclaimer

The report is generated by an AI system and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. The Service does not provide professional career, legal, or financial advice. You are responsible for decisions you make based on the output.

5. Third-party services and LinkedIn notice

The Service uses third-party providers (e.g. hosting, analytics, email delivery, data enrichment, AI processing). Availability and quality may depend on those providers.

When you submit a LinkedIn URL, the Service attempts to retrieve and process data visible from that URL via third-party tooling. Access to third-party platforms can change, be restricted, or be blocked at any time. If retrieval fails, we may be unable to generate your report.

6. Intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service and its underlying software. You may use the report output for your personal use. We do not claim ownership of your underlying personal data.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Service.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above indicates the latest version. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of the Slovak Republic, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence applies.
